On a more personal note: The Beiijing olympics has certainly been the best Olympics that I have seen. This has to go down as one of the greatest if not the greatest olympics ever. Your people have shown extreme generosity, class, and respect. China has certainly been a great host and is a role model country for the rest of the world. If possible,come to China to learn Chinese.


If this is not the best choice for you,maybe you can try reading some books about China in your language first.Secondly get a Chinese teacher to lead you into the door of our language,because pronunciation is a big problem for foreigners,especially westerners.Thirdly be an active learner.Speak more,listen more and watch more. Movies and dramas are very good for language study.Moreover,Chinese sketch and cross talk should be perfect since you want to know our culture.Meanwhile,many materials should be available on the internet.Make full use of it.
