Okay so im turning 13 and i am thinking out my birthday party. IT is going to be a hollywood themed party. Im not sure what to do. i have a huge house ( 5,600 square ft ) and i have a huge pool we put in two years ago. it is really nice. i was thinking pool party and i would decorate it with holly wood ( already bought the red carpet and everything ) i spent $150 on hollywood stuff but i am willing to spend more.
idk mabey a hollywood moon bounce. We like america's next top model and makeovers. i don't wanna waste time watching movies either.
i was thinking loud music ( know any good cheap D.J's?) maybe cheap celebrity impersonators? good party websites?

I think if you having a red carpet deal you should have section with a backdrop where your friends can pose and have their picture taken as they enter your party. It might be neat to set the party up like a movie set and of course it would be starring you. It would be cool to have a poster made up with you in in it. I would have each of the guest come as their favorite actor or movie character from a specific era. (James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Holly Golightly etc...). Since you have a pool theme it around surf movies. You could have movies playing throughout the house so as guest wander they see the movies from whatever genres you choose, but also have other things going on besides the movies, so it doesn't break up the party.
Congratulations!!!! I have a great idea for you. Have the party in the evening, and hire a photographer to shoot your guests as they arrive on the red carpet. The flashbulbs will make them feel like stars and you will have a wonderful keepsake scrapbook to treasure for years to come, the unveiling of which will give you another excuse for a get together. Have them win a pretend oscar when they come in the door, and videotape their ';acceptance speech!'; You can set up a karaoke machine with a microphone and have a friend or family member act as the emcee giving the awards and holding the mike for the acceptance speeches. Play the footage at the party and it will provide your guests with a lot of laughter.
On the invitations, tell your guests to come dressed for the academy awards, with lots of bling bling, but be prepared to change into a bathing suit for some aquatic fun later in the evening.
If it is a sleepover, your guests might need a makeover before they ';face their public'; on the ride home. You could hire a makeup artist and a hair stylist to make everyone beautiful the next day.
This would be a party your guests would remember forever.

Need advice on best laptop for my needs.?
Hello! I am looking to get a new laptop, I have a Packard Bell from when I was living overseas, I got it 2-3 years ago. It has been reliable but here are some things I don't like about it that I want to improve with my next laptop purchase....
Super loud fan that get's HOT, virtual memory increases a lot, SLOW, always needs the battery plugged in etc.
I need a new laptop that I can download purchased programs on (screenwriting software, Quicken etc), very portable inside the home (room to room) w/out battery dying shortly, decent size screen (doesn't need to be huge but at least 15in, I use my itunes regularly, watch videos, starting my own business.
I would LOVE to get an iMac Notebook, I've actually seen some on Ebay for under $800. My budget is $500-$800.
Are Apples more high maintence than PC's?

Apple in a since maybe high maintence, as you do need to at time buy certain Mac version software for it. And don't be fooled by the 'Mac are virus free' tag line. They aren't last months Macs were hit with an infection. They are nice looking, but I'd never buy one.

My boyfriend is in band. He's 17, I am 16. We have been together for over a year and are very much in love, despite our ages or us being young..we are. I just can't stand band season..it ends November 17th..I can't stand some of the girls in his band and how he says that some have crushes on him..I cant stand not atlking to him hardly at all for weeks becaue of band tri[s, this is just making me so stressd. Im sitting up waiting on him to get home from a concert so we can tlak now. I don't want to give up, but im just missing him soo freaing much. i know time moves very slowly when your young, but you'll be ok. and i know how stressful being sperated from you bf can be. i am in the army and my husband (then boyfriend) were there together but sometimes either him or i would have to go on missions and be away from one another for days or weeks. and when he was gone i had a hard time with it cuz i didn't know if he was gonna get hurt or something while he was out. best thing to do i think, is make the best of the time you have with who you love and when you away from one another keep busy and try to make yourself really tired so you just fall asleep when you go to bed. hang out with other people and do thing that make you think so your not thinking of other things. you'll be alright. good luck and tell you father to be safe out there.Motherly advice needed. best answer = 10 pts!?

Listen to me, please please please!! Don't let him talk to you like that! Verbal abuse hurts just as much as physical. First, decide if it's worth it. Enough nagging about that.
On to the band thing, don't worry about what he is doing! He is 17, he can't get into a bar! (BE THANKFUL!) If he loves you, he won't bat an eyelash at the girls in his group. I think a really great way to get through tour season is to make a scrapbook of what you do while he is away, and give it to him when he gets back. My boyfriend LOVES this! It will also give you something to do while he is away. It will occupy you and give you less time to worry.
Also, relax. School is VERY important! Don't let a guy bring down your grades because they are crucial to your future!

Honestly if he's causing you that much stress I would take a break. From the short description you gave it also seems to be kind of one sided with you being the one whos putting in more effort. (Just what I got from the description may not be true =) ) And since you said that he used to swear and yell at you that is not a good sign, even if he says hes changing chances are hes not. So my advice would be to take a break and focus on doing things you love!
It sounds like your not his top priority, so why is he yours? If you guys are truly in love then things will work out on their own. Your young and should be focused on what you want to do in life...not how you can work your life around a guy. Guys come and go...he may be the one or someone else might be...who knows for sure? One thing my mom and grandparents always told me is be sure to take care of yourself first and get a good education/job so that you don't have to depend on anyone else. Hello all! I am currently struggling with a very difficult choice and I don't know what to do--I need to choose a birth control option, but I have other issues that are complicating the matter.
I am 21 years old and am NOT sexual active (ever) but I am in a committed relationship and I have a feeling that is going to change, so I want to be responsible and make sure there are no ';accidents';.
I spoke with my doctor and she wants to put me on the depo-provera shot, but I am very hesitant.
I CAN NOT gain weight. I'm not talking about ';I would be inconvenienced';, I mean that I have suffered from an eating disorder for over five years and weight gain of that type would put me right back where I started.
I asked about paraguard and my doctor basically told me she wouldn't use that on me, for whatever reason.
I am to the point where I'm considering getting a permanent solution. I just don't know what to do.

I am the same age as you, and also suffered from an eating disorder for several years, and I take an oral combined contraceptive pill. I have been on four different pills in that time, and three were fine and didn't cause weight gain. One of them made me insanely hungry all the time, and I craved sweets/carbs so badly I could hardly think of anything else and I did gain some weight. I stopped taking it and exercised, and my weight went back to normal.
You could try an IUD, a device which is put in your womb by a doctor, and releases hormones which stop you getting pregnant, or a contraceptive patch. There's always condoms, diaphragms or female condoms. You can compare lots of different contraceptive methods and see their pros and cons on the NHS website below.Need advice on best birth control choice.?

Not everyone gains weight on Depo. I've gained 10 pounds in three years. I really don't think it's from Depo. It's from being too lazy to cook right. But I have heard of ladies that have gained 20 pounds in a month. I find that hard to believe, but that's what they claim. But if you really don't want to take the chance I wouldn't do any kind of hormonal birth control. Everyone is different. What's right for me, may be totally wrong for you.
Get the little rod in your arm. With the shot you might not be able to have kids ever. You may not want any now but you might later so don't do anything permanent

PLEASE ADVICE! Ex best friend purposely hurting my feelings?
This is a teen question, don't send me bad feedback. I am really taken aback by this situation and I don't know what to do. I left her school and she just stopped talking to me, and i didn't bother in going out of my way to talk to her because she had always been a negative influence and never accepted my choice to quit smoking pot (which she only got heavily into last March when her Father passed, which I was there for her every second while her current friends didn't bother).
We had a rough friendship for the 4-5 years we were friends, but I thought since we were almost adults now that we could accept that we have been different people all these years and we could go our own ways, but recently she has made myspace bulletins about things she doesn't like about me out of no where as if she is TRYING to hurt me. I ignored that. I made an announcement I am moving out of the town last week and while everyone was saying they were sad I was leaving she made sure she said she liked the idea.
I'm not even in her life! She never sees me or hears from me unless she goes out of her way to check up on my websites. I don't know what to do or what to say, I don't want to keep ignoring it because these attacks really hurt. Why is she doing this and how do I approach it? (She likes to hurt people and put people down and thinks anything rational is ridiculous and I am actually scared to say anything, knowing she will put me down even more.)
I guess my biggest question is why she is doing this more than anything.PLEASE ADVICE! Ex best friend purposely hurting my feelings?
i think shes just afraid to loose you and that's her way of coping with it. its obvious you were her only true friend, and especially since you were the only one that was reallly ever there for her when she went thru her dad passsing, she'd rather be mean to you than accept the truth that you're leaving..

Drug addicts are miserable and she has found someone (you) to blame. As long you buy in to it she feels justified.It's called denial.
Ignore her. Some people get their pleasure by getting on other people's nerves and hurting them. Especially if its someone who they used to be close to. This is why girls win most fights in a relationship too
shes not much of a friend if she wants to hurt you. talk to her about it in a NICE way.=)
You should confront her about this.
Don't attack her though, just tell her that everything that she is doing to you is really hurting you, and you'd like to know why she's doing it.
Or, to get things over with the quick way, you could always just delete her from your friends list. Then you won't have to see her bulletins anymore.

Last week I met this girl and talked to her a couple of times. We got along really well but the only reason I saw her was because we went to go see a speaker and then the other time it was outside of her class by chance of me walking by. Need advice on best Lexmark printer out there, one of the series that doesn't give to much hassle?
I own a Lexmark X4270 series printer, had it for a few years, works most of the time but, the tell ya the truth it sucks, it has given me more problems then any other printers I had before, replacing the cartridges has to be the expensive $35+ originals, remanufactured ones just don't work...sometimes even the original cartridges don't necessarily perform as well either once installed, specially the color ones...even after the automatic head-alignment the printer does after any new cartridge is installed..sometimes the color prints all smudged up, somewhat blended. I'm looking for something better within the ';Lexmark'; family, one that isn't as problematic....Is there any Lexmark owners out there that might suggest better? Need advice.. my best friend is hooking up with my kid's father?
me and my kids father get along OK for the most part... we have been broken up since our son was born, which was 8 years ago. we have had our ups and downs and disagreements as most split couples forced to communicate do. I moved from my hometown a few hours away to complete school and each month would take a bus (8 hour ride one-way) down so my son could spend a weekend or whatever time off we had from school with his dad and i would stay with my best friend, so it worked great for us. a few months ago my best friend told me shes been hanging out with my kids dad, and now she confessed shes been hooking up with him. shes gushes about him, spends all her free time with him, and now has been taking his side in on going arguments between me and him, she has also decided to tell him some of the things I had told her in confidence ( mostly venting as she is my best friend and that's what we do).. I don't know if it is right of her to date him? am i being selfish by having this bother me? I want her to be happy, but i don't want to lose her as a best friend, we have been through a lot together, but this has been weighing on my mind and I don't like it and I don't know what to do... any suggestions???

We have a wedding coming up in a few months and we're making a emergency kit. For anyone who does not know what it is, it's basically a bag/kit filled with fast-fix tools for anything that may go wrong. We have researched this on many websites and compared lists to make sure that we have anything and everything that may be needed.
And here's my question: does anyone have any ideas for items(maybe from personal experience) that are a must-have that may be overlooked? Any ideas would be wonderful!! I think we have the basics, but you can never be too sure!

Great question! I am in the event business, so I've been carrying my own go-bag with this sort of stuff for a long time. You've got the basics from other answers, think about these things:
Duct tape for emergency pant/dress hems and clothing fixes. Combined with safety pins, you're good to go all night.
Little hand wipes. Not baby wipes, but the individually wrapped kind. Wet naps, you know. That goes in the ';never let 'em see you sweat'; file.
Batteries. Wireless microphone batteries like to fail right before big events. (Even if the a/v guy just changed them.)
Pens and notecards. For anything!
Anything you'd want in a basic first-aid kit.
Tide Stain-Stick. Amazing, space-age technology.
Crackers. Defeat the wedding day jitters and their effect of the stomach.
Along the same lines, maybe a pack of Tagamet.
List of contact #s for all wedding vendors. Where's the florist? I don't know, but if you have her number you can find out.
Cash. For tips/bribes. When some valet attendant won't let you leave the ';just married'; car on the curb for more than a few minutes, a few bucks can probably get him to look the other way.
Scissors, a pocketknife, a nail clipper. Cutting implements of all sorts for things that suddenly need to be cut. Don't give them to a freaked-out groom, though!

Since you have the basics covered, I won't go over them again. One thing you might want to add is needle, thread and small scissors. At my wedding just a few weeks ago, the zipper in the back of my dress busted just after I put on the dress. Fortunately, I had transparent vinyl thread and needle (from making my own veil) and my mother was able to sew me up. You couldn't even tell, unless you looked up close.

Great question! I am in the event business, so I've been carrying my own go-bag with this sort of stuff for a long time. You've got the basics from other answers, think about these things:
Duct tape for emergency pant/dress hems and clothing fixes. Combined with safety pins, you're good to go all night.
Little hand wipes. Not baby wipes, but the individually wrapped kind. Wet naps, you know. That goes in the ';never let 'em see you sweat'; file.
Batteries. Wireless microphone batteries like to fail right before big events. (Even if the a/v guy just changed them.)
Pens and notecards. For anything!
Anything you'd want in a basic first-aid kit.
Tide Stain-Stick. Amazing, space-age technology.
Crackers. Defeat the wedding day jitters and their effect of the stomach.
Along the same lines, maybe a pack of Tagamet.
List of contact #s for all wedding vendors. Where's the florist? I don't know, but if you have her number you can find out.
Cash. For tips/bribes. When some valet attendant won't let you leave the ';just married'; car on the curb for more than a few minutes, a few bucks can probably get him to look the other way.
Scissors, a pocketknife, a nail clipper. Cutting implements of all sorts for things that suddenly need to be cut. Don't give them to a freaked-out groom, though!

We are choosing our subjects for our L.C at the end of this year and i still don't have a clue what i want to do when i'm older? I'm studying all the basic subjects at the moment..e.g.English,Irish,Maths, Science etc. and my choice subjects are business, art, woodwork and german. I'd be interested in studying zoology when i'm older but what subjects would that require? I'm also considering English or Art, which of these would be best?

(You need a third language, German if its what you're already doing, for any course).

You don't say whether you're going to do one or two science subjects. If you're doing one then it should be biology.
If you're doing two then chemistry will be more useful, but if you think you'll do better in physics you should do physics.

Talk to you guidance counsellor or someone like that who can show you all the options in an arts faculty.
You'll have to spend many hours researching schools and seeing what they have to offer.
i had the same predicament as you 2 years ago , i decided not to do zoology as one of the courses i wanted i couldnt get into and the other one was in kerry and i lived in kildare at the time. wat i ended up doing was choosing a course called tourism managemnet in DIT.
i thought the first semester was ok and i hated the second semester , i ended dropping out because it wasnt wat i wanted to do. i was only 17 when i went into my first year of college and i stil think i was too young , im 19 now and im thinkin about doing another course next year, somethin to do with animals that will tie in with zoology.
my advie to you is maybe take a year out before you go inot your first year of college. if your not sure at this satge wat course you want to do then maybe you should wait a year and it might make your decision easier. im not saying you shouldnt decide now im just giving you advice that i should have taken.

Ok two years ago I used to talk to Danielle Panabaker (the actress). We got along really well and set up a time to meet at a starbucks(for a date). Advice on best home cleaning solutions to use during pregnancy?
The 2 main cleaners that i use in my home are Clorox Anywhere spray, and Pine Sol. I'm pretty confident that the Clorox Anywhere is probably the safest spray to use to disinfect counters, etc. Now, do you guys think Pine Sol is considered pretty safe? Or is it considered a chemical with strong fumes?
I'm just not sure if the strong smell it gives off is just from the sent that they put in it for it to smell pleasant, or if it's the actual chemicals that smell strong?? A little confused. Any advice/suggestions/experiences you all could share?

Ok two years ago I used to talk to Danielle Panabaker (the actress). We got along really well and set up a time to meet at a starbucks(for a date). you cant ask him out over the phone because it is really awkward when you see them. your best bet is to make him think about you, so talk about your problems (go quite personal, it shows that you trust him) slowly change conversation to relationships than arrange to meet up tomorrow. now he is thinking about you and you've given him an opportunity to ask him and if he doesn't ask him but don't seem to upset because than they can still approach you as a friend. i hope this helped and good luck plz help me

After having braces for 2.5 years in High School, my teeth have moved outwards as a result of ';tongue thrusting';. I have a fairly severe recession on a bottom-center tooth (sometimes it is painful). My orthodontist told me that I should put braces on again for 2 years to pull the teeth back to position, possibly alleviate the recession, and to put the jaw into more of a U shape (apparently there are new wires which can do this which weren't available before).
If I don't get braces, she recommends going ahead with the graft of the recession and that I wear a nightguard for the rest of my life to prevent ';occlusive pressure'; on my front teeth at night.
I don't know which I should go for- wouldn't my teeth just move back again after the braces? Could I just correct the tongue thrusting and get the nightguard and the graft and then the problems won't get worse/ what are potential future problems if I don't get braces to fix this?

I believe you should have 2 opinions from different orthodontists and an opinion from a periodontist (the person how should do the graft) before you make any decision. Make sure they are specialists and not general dentist who do this type of work. FYI- there is an appliance that can be made to help correct the tongue thurst problem. If you dont start with correcting this problem, you will end up in the same situation after ortho or without ortho, it will get worse. People who have tongue thrusts usually do it all the time and not just night. For the consults, ask to have a copy of any relevant xrays and that may cut down on your costs. Also, call around, most orthodontists in our area do not charge for consults. It depends on where you live. The periodontists in our area do charge for consults. Hello. My best friend (Aly)'s parents got seperated little less than a year ago. Well her dad (Joe) already has a new girlfriend (Jill) And Jil has 3 kids. Well Jill used to think I was great and all that. But now she hates me. She even told Aly that. She always bosses Aly around like she is her mom. And Joe and Jill have known each other for like 7 months and are engaged. And I'm not allowed over her house because ';I will tell what I hear there';. Which is stupid. But Jill reads my texts to her daughter. And I asked daughter 1 if their religion allowed to have sex/live together before marriage because they do and I even said Just Wondering... Advice about best setting for photographing shelter animal please ?
I used to run the office on Saturdays in our local animal shelter, but had to give it up, I'm very ill for the last year and the drugs I'm on have destroyed my immune system so I can't mix with other people, if I catch something from them I can't fight it off.
My problem is that I'd still like to contribute. I thought I could photograph their animals, the ones they currently publish are not the greatest, and I'm hoping I can do better for them. This can mean the difference between getting a home or not to these poor dogs and cats.
Anyway, explanation out of the way, I have a Canon 300D SLR, I have a tripod. Now what I need is advice about the best settings and distance, sun/shade etc. any advice you could give me is welcome. I really want to help make these animals look good.

Ok this might be to much so 3 versions below
1.
Remember the cat shots I did? If you want them like that.
Use 2 500w lights, one closer than the other (one as key one as fill) at angles like 45degrees. Put the critter or have someone hold it on a table so you can get you lens at eye level - you must engage people - emotion/eyes et cetera. Have a clean background. Use say a focal lenght of 40mm or whatever works best for you and the distance for the raskles.
2.
Use flash, maybe difuse it a stop with a layer of grease proof paper or something, on a bracket would be ideal..... get to eye level and nail that puppy or kitty or kitten or domesticated opossum, -
3.
Outside get to eye level, overcast days will be best or use a large difusser or reflectors if its sunny. And same principles as above. For light coloured animals like golden dogs use the sun as a back light and flash as you key light - like the girl portrait.... If you can get the animals to hold there heads still you can use the sun to highlight one side of the face and shadow the other - giving a pleasing ratio portrait - but they dont pose to well those Joeys..........

BEST settings? that depends on the light, if you work outdoors on a sunny day iso100 F16 @ 125th will do it for you - at least within fixable range, Overcast goto F8 @ 125th or slower light depending. If you make your own light then its a different game.....

You have some very good answers, but I'd like to add a few suggestions. Go eye level, whether you raise them up or lower yourself. Some animals think they at at the vets office when raised and panic, so you just might have to lower yourself. Avoid your in camera flash, you'll get green eye (far worse than red) Black animals are the toughest and cross lighting is really the best for them, if you can't do that shoot raw. You can always add catch lights in shop later; put them on a seprate layer and lower the opacity of that layer til they look right. Bring a little container of dry rice or beans to shake to make the perk their ears up. Treats help with pups, too. A nice long cat toy, like a peacock feather is a great aid. Baskets help keep kitties in one place and look cute. When you're ready to take a dogs picture, bark. (yep!)

Nice project - I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a tough time though.. ok, let's try to make this as rewarding as possible for you and the animals needing good homes!
I am not sure if you'd planned to treat this as a set-up / studio-type job, or if you'd treat the subjects more naturally within their surroundings. I know a great wildlife photographer and so I will pass you on some of his best tips and a couple of my own.
1. Make sure you get catchlights in the animals eyes - this makes a huge difference in making the animal look alive and appealing. I'd suggest a reflector, or alternatively a flash for this. If you are using a reflector then meter the animals face after you apply the light to get your exposure. If it has a black face then close your exposure down by 0.5-1 stop. If it has a white face then open up by 0.5-1 stop... mid tone subjects will be 'as is'... just get your settings and exposures should be stable assuming the animals don't change their distance from an artificial light source too much. (Check those histograms - more on this later, ok)
2. Focus on the eyes too - really important.
3. Wide angle lenses will distort your subject, so a 50mm (or equivalent on a 300d = appx 35mm) through to a moderate telephoto (300d / 50mm) will be more flattering to them.
4. Your angle of view will also be important - looking up at someone or something says they have power, looking down implies vulnerability... ,-) But a 'pod may create too high an angle so watch out for this... you need to be level with (lying down) or slightly above your subjects.
5. If shooting in bright sunshine you can break the normal 'rule' when photographing people and use bright sun to light their face directly... we are very attuned to human expressions but dog's and cats don't squint!
6. A telephoto lens will mean you are not so much in the animals face and a zoom will allow you to get close-ups, but the longer the lens the more this will reduce your depth of field / image sharpness, so you may need to compensate by stepping back from the minimum aperture to guarantee those eyes are sharp... in which case make sure your shutter speed is appropriate to eliminate camera shake and raise your ISO as needed. I'd feel safe with around f5.6/f8 on 400 ISO in most situations - a guide only.
6. To get more sophisticated you could put up a light tent (effectively a tent with a roof but no sides) out of doors - keeping sunlight from directly above from lighting your animal but enabling light to bounce in from the sides, back and front - this can produce amazing light effects with beautiful tonal gradations... and it can be combined with reflectors and/or a touch of fill-in flash from the front to make really powerful and rich tonal images (it works great for models too).
7. Take some treats or a whistle - you need to get their attention when you want it.
8. IF you are using studio lighting then work as if the animal was indoors and the light is a window - you get the broadest tonal gradations by keeping your light coming in from one side, skimming across the front of your subject - and the closer your light source to the animal the broader the range of tonality you will achieve (a common mistake being to keep the lights too far away or directly in front of the subject = flat, dull, lacking tonal gradation / modeling). BUT make sure you still get those catchlights in the eyes, so the light has to be in front and side on to the animal to get this skimming effect along the 'edge of the light'.
NB I'd use modeling lights or tungsten in preference to flash which may upset some animals.
9. Another technique to consider would be to underexpose your background while using the flash to expose the subject. Once you have the flash exposure right, reduce your shutter speed from the exposure that will get the background right (by 1-2 stops)... this will make the background area colour rich and saturated, darken skies etc... this will produce a more dramatic look.
10. Your settings in terms of exposure will be scene / light related. I'd try to separate the subject from the background using DoF and other than that I'd be looking for shutter speeds that I can hand hold safely as you may struggle with a pod if subjects are moving too much. If in doubt I'd always view the histogram, or use an incident light meter or a grey card to get the mid point exposure right.
Finally mail me some of your results when you do them and I'll give you some direct feedback with some +ve tips and suggestions, ok? Glad to help...

Here goes:
--- either find a cloudy-bright place outside (no harsh shadows) or, indoors, a room with a big window and lots of soft light.....
--- have someone from the shelter play with the animal, dangle a toy (cats), tug a leather bone (dogs) and......
--- wait for The Decisive Moment when the animal shows just how wonderfully affectionate and adorable she is....The Big Slobbery Kiss do just fine for dogs...cats, you'll have to wing it :-)
Obviously with some animals this won't be possible. But you get the idea -- wait for the moment when the animal is irresistible, then start firing!

--- either find a cloudy-bright place outside (no harsh shadows) or, indoors, a room with a big window and lots of soft light.....
--- have someone from the shelter play with the animal, dangle a toy (cats), tug a leather bone (dogs) and......
--- wait for The Decisive Moment when the animal shows just how wonderfully affectionate and adorable she is....The Big Slobbery Kiss do just fine for dogs...cats, you'll have to wing it :-)
Obviously with some animals this won't be possible. But you get the idea -- wait for the moment when the animal is irresistible, then start firing!

I need advice, my best friend is dating a slut?
I don't know why he's still dating her honestly. It's the most frustrating thing ever because it seems like every time I come back to the room (we're roommates at college), he's fighting with her over the phone. And it's always over the same thing: she doesn't like that he's going to college so far away and she says that she doesn't trust him, yet she's cheated on him 2 times so far. The first time was about a year ago and when he came to me for advice, i told him he should break up with her. Needless to say, he didn't dump her. Now, just a few weeks ago, she cheated on him again. And when he asked me what to do, I said he should DEFINITELY break up with her, but again he didn't. There's so much more to this story, but I don't feel like typing all of it out. It's basically just a whole lot of drama. The part that I'm really having a problem with is that first, he's still dating this b****, and every time he asks me for advice and I say to break up with her, he starts defending her and saying that I don't know her all that well. I may have only met her a couple of times, but I see what she does to him during the school year, and that's enough for me not to like her. In a nutshell, because of the most recent instance of cheating, he hasn't been doing his work and has failed about 3 tests so far because he just isn't motivated to do well anymore. He's never been one to stress about his grades, but now he doesn't care whether he passes or fails. I'm just really tired of my friend continually asking me for advice and then telling me that I'm wrong about it when I tell him my honest opinion. I just need some advice really because i';m not sure at all how to handle this situation. I'm so sick of him being all dramatic and depressed and s*** when it's all because of her. He knows that i';m here for him, but I'm really ready to tell him to keep his drama to himself because I'm sick of hearing about it and giving him advice in vain. Not much you can do........ I had the same problem with one of my friends, no matta how much I told him ( what your saying ) he still continued to date and see her.
We remained good friends, but 2 years down the line it all when bad and I was left to pick up the peaces.
My advice is if hes not listening to you HIS BEST FRIEND and insted he is listening TO A SLUT he is not worth your time.

tell him its his fuking problem and if you tell me any more of this shiz im going to tell her you took sh!t in her breakfest burrito. im gonna go murder a fuking rat with a mallet real fast and when i get back and hit refresh their better be a thumbs up or im going to go take a **** in you're breakfest burrito. But for real its none of you're god dam business unless you make it. I hated that when id talk to my girlfriend and she tell me all this depressing ****, oh wait nvm my friends stayed the **** out of my problems like a good friend should. Unless you're buddies girlfriend is like 11 and he's 22 id stay the **** out of it, otherwise call the cops and throw that ped in jail. Also if the problems so bad he's telling you he still has some maturing, unless you're over hearing his conversations tell that **** to get out and talk outside.
I agree he should break up with her, how dare she sit there and say she don't trust him when shes the one cheating on him. At least hes trying to do something with his life, if she can't be supportive of him and be faithful the f@ck her. There are lots of good girls out there, looking for a guy who won't cheat on her. I bet you part of him wants to break up with her but theres something holding him back. Have you asked him if he likes being cheated on and being treated like that? You may just need to be straight up with him, tell him that you are tired of him asking you for advice and then not doing anything with it. I know men don't get all mushy but tell him that your his buddy and you don't like seeing him unhappy. He deserves better!
You give lots of advice to your best friend, but you must know ,:advices are only advices, actions can win words!!
So your advices are in vain, please change your attitude on how to help him,keep a balanced psychology on your problem. If you want him to know something, you can take him to do some group jobs amon you.
If he can spends time with you , and let you know more about her , the answer will be coming.
Tell him hes a ';*^^**()%26amp;^%ing idiot,'; and that hes a sheet friend. Tell him you never want to see him again as he is scum.
He will probably come squeeling back to you like the pig he is.
EDIT: sleep with his gf too. That will help.
Go ahead and tell him exactly how you feel and how you stated it here. if still he doesn't get the picture then forget about it you can only do so much. You can not force anyone to get your help and advice if they refuse to.
