Invite him to hang out with you, with a group a friends, talk to him during school.... Test the waters a little to see where he stands if your good friends. IF he can hang out with your friends and if you can hang out with his. See how you feel if you try that and give it some time. Then if you still feel good about it, ask him out, tell him you like him. Ask him how he feels abut you... good luck!
Listen in to see if there is a movie he wants to see and then ask him if he wants to go see it, that you think it looks really cool and you and some buddies were going to go. If he says he is already going to go see it with his friends, ask him when he is going so you guys can meet up. If he still declines, maybe you should let it be and find someone else.
Try getting together a few times to see. Then make a decision when you know more.
