I have been told it is better to Marry her there that the red tape is worse from this end in trying to get her permanent into Australia. Also is there much of a cost involved in the Imigration side, and if so what ballpark figure?Wots best way 2 marry Fiji lady. Here or Fiji? Is there more red tape here or in Fiji. Any advice?

the form you lodge and the cost is EXACTLY the same wether you are married or not.
it needs to be lodged in fiji at the australian embassy and it can take up to 6 months to be approved.
you obviously need to show proof that you have been in a relationship with that person for at least 12 months.
there is red tape all around the aussie immigration system, but it stops many being used and coming for the wrong reason.
